Root Community Works!

Why it’s better than learning alone…

Can you imagine what might happen if you and the people with whom you live, learn, work or worship were to gather once a week for 16 weeks and commit to sharing honestly and intimately about life? Now imagine that you learned some particular insights about your own emotional world including the roots of violence and the need to dominate others. Imagine what might happen in your life and in your world if you had a community in which to practice this knowledge. This is a personally transformative experience, but it is also a part of what it may take for us to transform the world and to succeed with the challenges of our times.

We’re not promising world peace and justice, nor an answer to all of your personal or humanity’s problems. But what we can promise is that your experience of a root community will empower you to much more deeply understand yourself and the people around you. To share more than this would tempt some people to avoid committing to the experience. In our own lives and practice we have discovered that it is not enough to learn the concepts. Root Community is where the real growth lives.
